In all, more than 160,000 Blue Cross of Idaho members gain access to the service through their commercial insurance and Medicare Advantage programs.

HealthFitness offers the MyNurse 24/7 service to health plans and employers who wish to give enrolled health plan members access to immediate clinical guidelines from registered nurses around the clock. Members can call a toll-free number to speak to trained nurses about symptoms, and for advice about treatment options--before early symptoms become serious medical events.

HealthFitness is accredited for its nurse line service by URAC, a Washington, D.C.-based health care accrediting organization that establishes quality standards for the health care industry. URAC accreditation is independent verification that HealthFitness' program has met stringent quality criteria and is trustworthy and effective.
