BIRMINGHAM, Ala., July 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- HealthSouth Corporation (NYSE:HLS) today announced that its board of directors has approved an increase in the Company's quarterly dividend of 9.5% and has declared a quarterly cash dividend on its common stock of $0.23 per share. The dividend will be payable on October 15, 2015 to holders of record on October 1, 2015.
The Company's 2.0% Convertible Senior Subordinated Notes include antidilutive protection that, in the event of certain payments of common dividends, provides for an increase in the number of shares of common stock issuable upon conversion. The dividend payment in October will trigger this antidilutive adjustment.
