The acquisition grows HealthTap's Medical Expert Network to more than 30,000 U.S.-licensed doctors and dentists, broadening local coverage across all 50 states, and expanding its reach to over 128 specialties. Avvo is focusing on its rapidly growing legal business, including its community of top lawyers who have provided answers to more than 1 million legal questions from consumers, and Avvo Ignite™, its recently released cloud-based client conversion and website solution for attorneys. Financial terms were not disclosed.
