Heartland Media Chooses Social News Desk as Key Social Media Strategy Partner

ATLANTA, Dec. 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Heartland Media has signed with Social News Desk to bring the SND suite of social media tools to its station group. The Heartland stations will be using SND Dashboard for social publishing and analytics and will use the SND On Air display tool to put social content on TV.

There are now more than 900 newsrooms on five continents using SND's social media management software as part of their social strategy. In addition to utilizing Social News Desk's social publishing tool, SND Dashboard, Heartland Media stations will also be using the company's integrated social display tool, SND On Air to power the live display of social content on its TV stations. 

Following its launch in Q2, Social News Desk's newest product, SND On Air, has been rapidly embraced for its ease of use and slick integration with SND's publishing tool, SND Dashboard. Stations in approximately one-quarter of the nation's 210 television DMAs are currently using SND On Air. 

Social News Desk is currently rolling out its second of two new products, SND Campaigns. This new platform provides an integrated solution for sponsored social campaigns allowing streamlined launch of sponsored contests and social posts along with automated reporting on the success metrics. 

Social News Desk continues to support all social media integration for its long-standing partner WSI, the leading provider of weather systems for broadcasters. The companies are currently developing more robust social tools within the WSI weather systems and will jointly roll those out in 2016.
