Heilind Now Stocking Sustainable Light Modules From Molex and Bridgelux

WILMINGTON, Mass., May 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Heilind Electronics, North America's largest interconnect distributor, is now offering the Helieon® Sustainable Light Module from Molex and Bridgelux. This product is a first of its kind integrated lighting system for an extensive array of interior and exterior lighting applications. The module integrates innovative Molex interconnect technology and design with solid state lighting technology from Bridgelux.

The Helieon lighting system simplifies the process of designing, building, replacing and upgrading luminaires. Beam angle, color temperature and light output can all be easily changed or upgraded without needing to remove the luminaire. Applications include down lights, task and accent lighting, spot and track lights, troffers and interior-area lighting, retail and display lighting, hospitality lighting, architectural lighting, decorative lighting and museum lighting.

The solid state light module is comprised entirely of recyclable components. High efficacy enables energy savings of up to 80% and luminaires meet regulatory standards, including Energy Star, Title 24 and Part L. Heilind's offering of Helieon light module product is between 500 and 1,500 lumens in 3000K warm white or 4100K neutral white.
