"Hello Beautiful" Sets Los Angeles Theatrical Opening October 10 at Laemmle Film Center

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Sept. 12, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Hello Beautiful, the dramatic new feature film from award-winning filmmaker Ziad Hamzeh, opens October 10 at the Laemmle Film Center, 1332 2nd Street, Santa Monica for its Academy Award®-qualifying run.

Starring Tricia Helfer (Primitive War, Battlestar Galactica, Lucifer) as Willow—a glamorous model whose privileged world is upended by a devastating diagnosis—Hello Beautiful is a stirring portrait of resilience, identity, and the human spirit. The film also features Tarek Bishara (The Christ, Freud's Last Session) and Sara Boustany (Pen15, Heartstrings).

Adapted from the bestselling novel Walk Beside Me by Christine Handy, who also serves as executive producer, the film is inspired by Handy's own extraordinary journey through illness and transformation. Handy, an author, model, and motivational speaker, has represented major brands including Victoria's Secret, Cupshe, Guess, J.Crew, and Elie Tahari.

Director Ziad Hamzeh has earned more than 50 international awards.
