Heraeus Attends PV Taiwan 2012, the Taiwan International Photovoltaic Exhibition

WEST CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa., Oct. 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Heraeus Photovoltaics Business Unit will be exhibiting at this year's PV Taiwan 2012 photovoltaic exhibition from October 3^rd - 5^th in Taipei, Taiwan. Heraeus will feature some of its newest products, including the SOL9600 and SOL205 Series of pastes and will be discussing its new Taiwan facility and the company's global expansion, during the show in Hall 1, Booth A0822.

Heraeus will highlight its SOL9600 Series for the front-side and SOL205 Series of the back-side applications of c-Si solar cells.  The SOL9600 Series has demonstrated significantly improved contact quality on regular and high sheet emitter wafers. The SOL9600 Series was formulated for cell applications requiring higher efficiency and finer line resolution printing.  The SOL205 Series is a lower silver content series of back-side pastes requiring 35% less paste that earlier generations of back-side paste, while providing improved adhesion properties.

Heraeus PV will also highlight its newest manufacturing site in Taiwan, which will allow faster service for the Taiwanese market. Currently in operation, the Grand Opening Ceremony will be on Tuesday October 2^nd at the facility.  The opening of the Taiwan facility reestablishes Heraeus' commitment to the region and the PV industry with plans for continued growth.
