Heroes Creator & Executive Producer Tim Kring to Receive Pioneer Prize at International Digital Emmy(R) Awards at MIPTV 2010 and to Deliver Keynote

PARIS and NEW YORK, Feb. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Tim Kring, the creator and executive producer of the worldwide phenomenon Heroes, is set to receive the 2010 Pioneer Prize at the International Digital Emmy® Awards, which take place on Monday, April 12, during MIPTV.

Heroes' multiplatform experience Heroes Evolutions, extended the show's storylines through mobile participation, games and graphic novels. In addition to receiving the Pioneer Prize, Kring will make a keynote address to conference delegates on the opening day of MIPTV, the world's entertainment content market.

As in previous years, the International Digital Emmy Awards will bring together over 200 professionals across the entertainment, mobile and Internet industries at the invitation-only ceremony, on the opening night of MIPTV 2010.
