Hertz Injects "Hot Hatch" Fun In The Netherlands With Specially Crafted Ford Focus

LONDON, Nov. 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Hertz Corporation (NYSE:HTZ), the world's leading general use car rental brand, has added Ford Focus ST-H models to its Fun Collection in the Netherlands, with the "hot hatches" now available to rent from Schiphol Airport.  The Ford Focus ST-H follows a long tradition of Ford creating limited edition models hallmarked with an "H" for Hertz.  Each Ford Focus ST-H hatchback sports a Panther Black color with distinctive gold stripes and alloy wheels finished in gold metallic. The look has been created exclusively for Hertz, echoing the exteriors of Ford's Shelby Mustang GT350H and Shelby GT-H which Hertz introduced for rent in 1966 and 1980 respectively.

The hatchback can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 6.5 seconds. The car also comes equipped with Recaro® sports seats and the SYNC connectivity system for hands free entertainment and communications.
