The HGST hardware certification list includes 12Gb/s SAS solid state drives (SSDs), PCIe Flash accelerators, as well as performance and capacity hard disk drives (HDDs) from the company's award winning Ultrastar family, including the industry's only helium-filled HDD product line. Together, these certified devices provide interoperable storage tiers for VMware Virtual SAN.
