Hicks Thomas Lawyers Earn Recognition by Texas Rising Stars for 2019
Young lawyers honored for business, employment litigation skills
HOUSTON, March 4, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Hicks Thomas LLP is pleased to announce that four of the firm's lawyers have earned selection to the 2019 Texas Rising Stars list of top young lawyers.
Senior Counsel Abbie Sprague, Nicholas Zugaro, Leah Graham and Kasi Chadwick are among the top 2.5 percent of Texas lawyers chosen for recognition. To be eligible attorneys must be 40 or younger, or in practice for 10 years or less.
Ms. Sprague is being honored for her general litigation work for the fourth year in a row. She focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation involving disputes in construction, real estate, employment and bankruptcy. She is a graduate of the University of Houston Law Center.
Mr. Zugaro earned recognition from Rising Stars for his business litigation work for the third year. He advises clients on a broad range of litigation matters, including bankruptcy, business and real estate issues. His clients include Fortune 500 companies, small businesses and individuals. He is a graduate of the University of Houston Law Center.
Also honored for business litigation is Ms. Graham, an attorney who focuses her practice on commercial arbitration, securities litigation, trade secrets, labor and employment, and construction litigation. She first made the Rising Stars list last year. She is a graduate of Baylor Law School.
Ms. Chadwick earned recognition from Rising Stars for her employment litigation work. She represents employers in pre-litigation investigations before governmental bodies, as well as a variety of litigation and post-judgment and appellate matters. This is her first year on the Texas Rising Stars list. She is a graduate of the University of Houston Law Center.
