HOUSTON, March 8, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Commercial litigation firm Hicks Thomas LLP is pleased to announce that two of the firm's lawyers earned selection to the exclusive Texas Rising Stars listing for 2017.
Senior counsel Greg Koush was chosen for the fifth consecutive year for his business litigation work, and associate Abbie Sprague was selected for the second time based on her work in construction litigation.
Only the top 2.5 percent of Texas lawyers are named to the annual Rising Stars list, which recognizes up-and-coming attorneys age 40 and younger or those who have practiced law no more than 10 years.
Mr. Koush has extensive experience representing a variety of energy companies in trials and arbitration. He focuses on business litigation, employment law, oil and gas matters, securities, construction and environmental litigation. He is a graduate of the University of Houston Law Center.
Ms. Sprague, who joined Hicks Thomas LLP in 2016, specializes in complex commercial litigation involving disputes in construction, real estate, employment and bankruptcy matters. She is a graduate of the University of Houston Law Center.
Rising Stars honorees are selected by Thomson Reuters' legal division from nominations by other lawyers across the state, an extensive review by researchers, and a blue-ribbon panel of lawyers. The full listing appears in the Texas Rising Stars issue of Super Lawyers Magazine published in April.
