Hidden Court Documents Force Ex-Prosecutor's Counter Attack Full Disclosure Network® Report
LOS ANGELES, Dec. 14, 2010 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Known for being a "court corruption fighter" attorney, Richard I. Fine, Ph.D., was jailed after he attempted to disqualify Superior Court Judge David Yaffe from sitting on a case where he had admitted receiving illegal payments from a party to the case before him. The Judge ordered him to an "indefinite" sentence for Civil Contempt of Court. U.S. Supreme Court precedent cases have held that civil contempt sentences are limited to five days, but Richard Fine was released after eighteen months in solitary "coercive confinement" in L .A. County Men's Central Jail.
Judicial And Court Corruption
During his incarceration, Richard Fine waged a legal battle for his freedom and encountered numerous incidents where court personnel, supervised by Judges, failed or delayed posting his documents to the Court Dockets and they issued Orders, stating no reasons for their actions but simply denied all his requests for hearings and release from jail. Fine describes his experience in this short video recorded two days after his release. http://www.fulldisclosure.net/Programs/580.php

Richard I. Fine, who at one time was a former U.S. Prosecutor with the DOJ in Washington D.C., began his current legal battle in March of 2009 from his jail cell. Now that Judge Yaffe has resigned his office and released Fine from jail, the disbarred attorney is continuing his legal battle with a "Counter Attack" to win back his Bar License and to "Null and Void" all the orders issued by Judge Yaffe in the case at issue. And he is making progress. Read the latest news report from Full Disclosure Network® http://blog.fulldisclosure.net/2010/12/developers-relent-in-18-month-contempt.html
