High Lantern Group Continues Strong Growth, Hires Four for DC Office
WASHINGTON, May 8, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- High Lantern Group today announced a major expansion, hiring four new consultants in its Washington, D.C. office.
"We continue to hire top people as our client work grows," said Kendall Bentz, Managing Director. "These high-caliber professionals will enhance our ability to provide clients with distinct insights on strategic positioning, thought leadership, and reputation. Each of them has already demonstrated remarkable professional achievement and we are delighted to have them on the team."
High Lantern Group has offices in Washington, New York, and Los Angeles. The four new hires are:
Jeremy Button, Director: For fifteen years, Jeremy has worked at the crossroads of public policy, business and strategic communications. Before joining High Lantern Group, he was with the Heinz Family Foundation where he helped design and implement innovative programs and grants producing practical, market-based solutions to a range of domestic policy issues. Jeremy also developed and executed the foundation's strategic communications.
Contessa Kellogg, Director: Contessa's arrival in High Lantern Group's Washington D.C. office marks a return to the city where her career began. Her communications experience includes speechwriting, government affairs, marketing and media relations, tools she refined as an independent consultant and drew upon in key communications positions in Los Angeles city government. Contessa has also served both sides of Capitol Hill, gaining valuable experience as a Communications Director and Floor Assistant to two Democratic Chief Deputy Whips.
Jonathan Beker, Associate Director: Jonathan has advised senior government officials on policy and communications for over a decade. He has twice served in the U.S. Senate as a trade and foreign policy staffer. He also previously held senior communications roles on the staff of the Israeli Ministers of Justice and Transportation and on two national campaigns, where he specialized in issues management and crisis communications.
Austin Tuell, Associate Director: Austin joins High Lantern Group from the office of Majority Leader Eric Cantor. In addition to coordinating Leader Cantor's national events, he conducted extensive business community outreach and worked alongside the speechwriting and press team. During the 2010 Midterm Elections, Austin worked closely with senior staff to guide then-Whip Cantor, handling Member relations and other vital tasks.
"Our four new colleagues were highly sought-after in Washington and we are delighted that they chose to work at High Lantern Group," said Daniel Casse, Managing Partner. "Our policy of hiring people with a proven ability to offer original insights on every issue continues. Our strength is intellectual capital – we believe in the power of ideas to build influence and create value for our clients."
