Hill+Knowlton Strategies Appoints Bill Coletti Executive Vice President and General Manager for Southern California Operations

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Hill+Knowlton Strategies announced today that Bill Coletti has been appointed executive vice president and general manager of the Los Angeles and Irvine offices, effective January 1. Coletti joins the Southern California leadership team to drive strategic business growth, create innovative communications programs and garner winning results for H+K clients.

Coletti brings diverse experience in corporate communications, national and international politics and the management of public policy issues on behalf of clients in the U.S. and internationally. Before assuming his new role in Southern California, Coletti spent 11 years as a senior strategist in the Austin office of Public Strategies Inc., a unit of H+K Strategies. At Public Strategies, Coletti oversaw the firm's growth strategy and provided executive counsel in corporate communications and crisis management.  Coletti also served as the client team leader for a Fortune 50 telecommunications company.

Previously, Coletti served in the Republic of Bulgaria as a senior advisor to the Council of Ministers, the prime minister and the labor minister. He was the first executive director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria, and director of real estate for Amoco Petroleum Products Corporation. He has worked in several Central and Eastern European countries, and served as an advisor to the Democratic Party of Albania during national parliamentary elections.
