Hillsdale College Hosts Second 2017-18 CCA Seminar
Center for Constructive Alternatives continues annual series with discussion of free market principles
HILLSDALE, Mich., Nov. 2, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- From Sunday, November 5, through Wednesday, November 8, Hillsdale College will host the second installment in its annual Center for Constructive Alternatives seminar series. The second CCA seminar of the 2017-18 school year, co-sponsored by the Ludwig von Mises Lecture Series, will examine the U.S. government's relationship to free market principles, and the merits of free trade. Attendees will hear lectures and debates from various policy experts, scholars, and Hillsdale College faculty.
The Center for Constructive Alternatives sponsors one of the nation's largest college lecture series, gathering students and visitors four times each year to hear from experts on diverse topics. Since the series began in 1972, more than 1,300 speakers have participated, including such prominent names as Ronald Reagan, Jeane J. Kirkpatrick, Steve Forbes, and Stephen Ambrose.
