Hip Hop Group Responds to Recession With Messages of Faith, Perseverance

WASHINGTON, Nov. 15, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Native Deen, an internationally recognized Muslim hip-hop group, recently released a new music video calling on its audience to turn to God and remain steadfast in faith, especially during difficult times.

The music video titled, "I am Near," is the group's first single and official music video off of its latest album, "The Remedy." The video is set in present-day America and tells a story that many people of different faiths and backgrounds can relate to in the current recession -- a story about how a parent, who loses his job and is forced out of his home, struggles to make ends meet and keep the family together.

The fast-paced video is laced with positive messages of faith, tolerance, forgiveness and redemption; however, Native Deen hopes that at least one main message reaches the viewers.
