Hitlab, through its partnership with the Boston Red Sox, is in search for the next Fenway Park National Anthem Performer through a mobile app called 'CAN U SING'

MONTREAL, Sept. 12, 2016 /PRNewswire/ - Earlier this month, the Montreal based technology company Hitlab and the Boston Red sox, teamed up to launch the 'Sing Your Way To Fenway' contest, the first singing audition of this kind organized and carried out through a mobile app. The contest is the vastest reaching talent search for the next National Anthem singer at the Red Sox's home stadium - Fenway Park in Boston, with the concept that is challenging money and time consuming singing auditions worldwide. The winner of the competition will perform the National Anthem before the Boston RedSox vs New York Yankees game at Fenway Park, on September 18^th 2016.

Participation in the contest is made available exclusively through the Can-U-Sing mobile app. With advanced vocal analysis technology and a number of innovative features, Can-U-Sing records the voice using professional audio and visual cues, lyrics, and instrumental tracks.  Recordings are scored by evaluating musical elements like the ability to hold rhythm, melodic precision, vocal technique, and more. The app allows the participants to practice their skills and the feedback is specifically designed to help improve their performance.

To participate in the "Sing your way to Fenway" contest, users must download the app, sing the National Anthem and submit their recording to the contest by September 14^th. All submitted recordings are published on can-u-sing.com and the public can cast their vote by sharing individual recordings on social media. The performers of the top three recordings with highest scores and number of online shares combined, will perform on the final audition in Boston on September 18^th. A team of judges compiled by Red Sox and Hitlab representatives will choose the contest winner, who will perform the National Anthem at Fenway on September 18^th.
