HITN-TV Presents a Summary of the Presidential Debate with an Emphasis on Issues Affecting the Latino Community
HITN-TV programming designed to educate Hispanics on the electoral process
BROOKLYN, N.Y., Sept. 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- HITN-TV, the network that provides educational and entertainment content for US Hispanic audiences, is presenting a summary of last Monday's presidential debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, with a focus on top issues of concern for the nation's Latino community. The special program will air Sunday, October 2 at 9:00 p.m. ET (12:00 p.m. PT).
The analysis, featuring excerpts from the debate, is part of Tu Momento2016 (Your Moment2016), an HITN-TV programming initiative launched in April dedicated to covering the electoral process.

According to Nielsen data, approximately 84 million people in the United States watched the debate and Twitter postings about it totaled around 17.1 million. Preliminary estimates are that the showdown between the two presidential frontrunners attracted the largest audience of any political debate in US history.
HITN-TV's special on the debate will be hosted by veteran political journalist Gerson Borrero, a regular commentator for Tu Momento2016, the network programming campaign designed to help the Hispanic community understand the complex US electoral system.
Tu Momento2016 will continue to cover and analyze the latest developments in the electoral process, including the remaining two presidential debates in October, all the way up to Election Day on November 8th, and the inauguration of the country's new president in January.
