HJF Announces 2025 Heroes of Military Medicine Honorees

BETHESDA, Md., April 2, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine, Inc. (HJF) is pleased to announce the 2025 honorees receiving the HJF Heroes of Military Medicine Awards:  

• Hero of Military Medicine Ambassador Honoree: Mr. Sal Gonzalez
• Hero of Military Medicine U.S. Army Honoree: Colonel (Doctor) Benjamin P. Donham
• Hero of Military Medicine U.S. Navy Honoree: Captain (Doctor) Matthew D. Tadlock

• Hero of Military Medicine Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service Honoree: Captain (Doctor) John Iskander

This year marks the 15^th Anniversary of the Heroes of Military Medicine Awards. This special celebration of deserving awardees will be held on May 8, 2025, at the Washington National Cathedral in Washington, D.C., bringing together top military leaders, medical researchers, practitioners, and grateful citizens to salute those who, through their selfless dedication to military medicine, have improved the lives and health of our nation's warfighters.
