DALLAS, Oct. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Tonight's "Inside MMA" comes to you from Sacramento, California – hometown to our two panel guests tonight, Urijah Faber and Scott Smith.
Faber, "The California Kid" who gained fame as a WEC featherweight, speaks about the challenges in dropping down to the bantamweight class. He also previews his upcoming bout against Takeya Mizugaki at WEC 52, scheduled for November 11.
Also on the panel, Scott Smith tells Kenny and Bas that he and Paul Daley are "...gonna go out there and bang it out." Smith added, "I always fight to end the fight in the first round so, yeah I think we're gonna beat the hell out of each other, and that's what I get excited for."
Both Faber and Smith also give their perspectives on next week's Lesnar v. Velasquez fight at UFC 121 on October 23.
The panel also weighs the pros and cons of a vegetarian diet after viewing the program's segment featuring Jake Shields, one of the best welterweights in the UFC – who just happens to be a vegetarian.
Also, we feature highlights from John "Wild Child" Reedy, who made his first trip back to the ring since winning the "Most Bizarre Moment" Bazzie Award back in 2009.
And, in "Inside America's Gyms," Ron Kruck heads to Faber's Sacramento gym, Ultimate Fitness.
