Homewood Suites Cincinnati-Milford Wins Prestigious Award From Apple REIT

MERRILLVILLE, Ind., March 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- White Lodging is pleased to announce the Homewood Suites in Cincinnati-Milford, owned by Apple REIT Companies, won the Master of Margins award in February.

The award is given each year to the Apple REIT Companies hotel with the highest profit margin growth year of year. The Homewood Suites Milford, OH beat out 282 other hotels to win the award.

Montrose said the hotel did an exceptional job of driving top line revenues and exceeding top line budgeted sales by 10 percent. Through operational excellence and great cost controls, the hotel was able to exceed year of year profit by $203,000, Montrose said.
