MEXICALI, Mexico, Nov. 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Honeywell (NYSE: HON), in partnership with Rebuilding Together, completed a renovation project at Gustavo Vildosola Almada, a middle school for students from low-income families in Mexicali. Honeywell donated USD 8,000 in materials, and more than 300 Honeywell volunteers along with 50 teachers, students and parents spent the day repairing the school facility.

Volunteers painted the interior and exterior area, refurbished the football field and basketball court, repaired electrical equipment, fixed windows, air conditioners and security cameras, installed a flag post, removed waste, and landscaped the common area.
