DENVER, Oct. 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Goldman Sachs for the second year in row, is recognizing Jordan Eisenberg, Founder and CEO of UrgentRx, as one of the 100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs of 2015 at its Builders + Innovators Summit in Santa Barbara, California. Goldman Sachs selected Eisenberg as one of 100 entrepreneurs from multiple industries to be honored at the two-day event.

Most recently, Eisenberg invented and launched UrgentRx, a portfolio of fast-acting, powdered medication for common ailments such as headaches and upset stomach that can be taken without water. The convenient single dose packets target today's busy, on-the-go consumer and provide "Right Now Relief" when and where they need it. Since the brand's launch, Eisenberg has been able to establish distribution in over 30,000 retail stores, such as Walmart, Walgreens, Family Dollar, Dollar General and CVS by targeting "unused" space at the front checkout

Prior to starting UrgentRx, Eisenberg had founded two companies on his own: CollarCard, maker of a credit-card-size shirt stay holder given out as a premium by men's wear chains; and PMS Buddy, an app that reminded men when their wives or girlfriends were having their periods. The app received 30,000 downloads the day Ashton Kutcher, the actor and Twitter sensation, tweeted about it.

"We are honored to recognize Jordan as one of the most intriguing entrepreneurs of 2015," said David Solomon, co-head of investment banking at Goldman Sachs. "This is an exciting time for entrepreneurs. This is the fourth year that we've hosted the Builders + Innovators Summit and continue to be amazed by what happens when a diverse group of seasoned and emerging business leaders -- the builders and innovators – come together to discuss how to drive innovation, create jobs, and build enduring organizations."

For more than 145 years, Goldman Sachs has been advising and financing entrepreneurs as they launch and grow their businesses. In addition to honoring 100 entrepreneurs, the summit consists of general sessions and clinics led by Goldman Sachs experts, seasoned entrepreneurs, academics and business leaders as well as resident scholars.
