National Cajun-inspired seafood brand celebrates decade of growth with new seafood boils
QUEENS, N.Y., Sept. 17, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Hook & Reel, the Cajun-inspired seafood dining restaurant known for bringing the fun and flavor of a backyard seafood boil to communities across the country, is celebrating its 10th anniversary with an expansion of the menu at participating locations. The milestone introduces three new pre-set seafood boils, giving guests even more ways to experience the brand's signature customizable seafood feast.
Over the past decade, Hook & Reel has grown into a national restaurant brand with more than 70 locations across the U.S. At the heart of that growth has been an experience designed to make seafood approachable, customizable and, most importantly, fun. Inspired by the communal tradition of Louisiana seafood boils, Hook & Reel encourages guests to roll up their sleeves, gather around the table and dig in.
"Reaching 10 years is an exciting opportunity to celebrate how far Hook & Reel has come while remaining focused on what made guests fall in love with us in the first place," said Daniel Foster, Hook & Reel Manager. "We believe seafood should be for everyone. Whether you know exactly how you like your boil or you're trying one for the first time, at Hook & Reel you can choose the seafood, flavors and level of heat that work for you. We are thrilled to introduce these new seafood boils to our new and returning customers, giving them even more options to turn every meal into an experience for the whole table."
More Ways to Boil
The anniversary menu expansion introduces three pre-set boils that range in size from an individual meal to a feast serving up to 10 guests. Each comes with a curated combination of seafood and accompaniments, while still giving guests the ability to make the boil their own with their choice of Hook & Reel sauce and preferred spice level.
- The Perfect Storm: Made for one, The Perfect Storm combines a snow crab cluster, head-off shrimp and black mussels with corn and potatoes, offering a little bit of everything in one bag.
- The Boil Trio: A shareable boil for two featuring two snow crab clusters, head-off shrimp and crawfish, plus corn and potatoes.
- Lobster Party: Serving two to three, Lobster Party puts lobster at the center of the table with two lobster tails, two snow crab clusters, two pounds of head-off shrimp and broccoli, plus corn and potatoes.
The new menu offerings reflect the communal spirit that has helped define Hook & Reel throughout its growth. Rather than a traditional seafood dining experience, the restaurant embraces the energy and informality of a backyard boil; gathering with friends and family, eating with your hands, getting a little messy and sharing a meal around the table.
