AUSTIN, Minn., Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Hormel Foods Corporation (NYSE: HRL), a Fortune 500 global branded food company, today announced the distribution of $332,000 in Hunger Action Month cash donations from its production facilities to more than 40 hunger-relief organizations across the U.S., supporting efforts to address food insecurity in local communities where the company operates.

As food banks and hunger-relief organizations continue to face elevated demand across the U.S., Hunger Action Month serves as a way to aid communities nationwide, raise awareness and support local efforts to ensure access to nutritious food. For more than a decade, the Hormel Foods Charitable Trust has provided funding to U.S. production facilities, allowing local teams to support hunger-relief organizations in their own communities. This year, each facility received $10,000 to help address food insecurity in their local communities.

Organizations receiving support include food pantries, community meal programs and hunger-relief nonprofits in more than 40 communities nationwide including Second Harvest Food Pantry of Beloit, the Knoxville Senior Center, Channel One Regional Food Bank and Foodbank of Somerset County in New Jersey.
