Hornet Launches #WeAreOne Campaign to Support "International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia & Biphobia"

The campaign is part of an international day of unity in more than 130 countries, including 22 nations where same-sex marriage is legal but discrimination persists against members of the LGBTQ community. Hornet's campaign is supporting the effort in Taiwan to become the first Asian country to permit same-sex marriage and the 23rd country to legalize marriage equality. With a ruling expected to be issued on May 24 by the Taiwanese Constitutional Court, #WeAreOne will be a loud proponent of a ruling for equality.

"There is only one country in Africa with marriage equality and none in Asia. Now that North America, South America and Europe largely have marriage equality, it is important to note that most people in the world live on these two other continents and don't enjoy this equality. Winning marriage equality in Taiwan is important and can be a light not only to the rest of Asia but also to fellow Mandarin speaking China--whose influence in the world is extremely important," stated Hornet President Sean Howell.
