HOSTING Welcomes Health IT Leader Scott Filion as Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing

DENVER, March 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- HOSTING, a leading provider of managed cloud and database administration services, has appointed Scott Filion as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Filion will lead HOSTING's sales and marketing teams in growing revenue and brand awareness across all of the company's divisions, with a strategic focus on HOSTING's growing health IT practice.

Filion has a 20-year track record of rapidly scaling innovative businesses and building world-class teams. Prior to joining HOSTING, he led EMC's global healthcare business for more than nine years. Under his tenure, the business grew 25-fold and established EMC as a clear market leader. Prior to EMC, Filion served in executive leadership roles at multiple GE business units. His last role at GE was in the medical division where he focused on building and scaling the health IT business.

Filion holds a bachelor's degree in Engineering and Management from Clarkson University. He is a graduate of GE's CLP program, has attended multiple Crotonville courses and completed EMC's GM course.

Filion is replacing Bill Santos, former Executive Vice President of Enterprise Sales and Solutions for HOSTING. Santos is now President of HOSTING's Advanced Solutions division.
