Hotel Les Mars in Healdsburg, CA. Acquired by New Ownership

CARMEL, Calif., Oct. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- William P. Foley II and David B. Fink have purchased in partnership Hotel Les Mars in Healdsburg, California. The 16-room Relais & Chateaux member luxury hotel is located in the heart of the Sonoma wine country.

"Effective immediately, Hotel Les Mars will be managed by Mirabel Hotel & Restaurant Group," stated Fink, who is chief executive officer of the company.

Foley, a businessman and winery owner, most recently purchased Chalk Hill Winery in August 2010, and Sebastiani Vineyards & Winery in 2008. He is the proprietor of Foley Wine Group and founder/managing partner of Foley Estates Vineyard and Winery as well as LinCourt Vineyards. Foley served as the chief executive officer of Fidelity National Financial, Inc. from 1984 - 2007.

In purchasing the award-winning hotel, Foley's intention was to have a comfortable setting for his visiting guests and other VIPs who visit Chalk Hill Winery. He plans to move into the residence at Chalk Hill Winery, which is located a short drive from Hotel Les Mars.

Originally constructed in 2005, Hotel Les Mars has been well maintained, but a capital investment in the guest rooms is planned for the immediate future.

Les Mars is also the site of Michelin two-star Cyrus restaurant. The hotel ownership change will not affect the restaurant.
