HotSchedules Names Bijal Patel Chief Financial Officer
Former Aptean and Misys executive to focus on revenue expansion and profitable growth
AUSTIN, Texas, May 17, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- HotSchedules®, a leading provider of mobile technology for the restaurant and hospitality industries, has named Bijal Patel Chief Financial Officer. He will facilitate go-to-market strategies and profitable growth, underpinned by domestic and international expansion whilst driving operational excellence.
A technology executive with more than 22 years of experience, Patel joins HotSchedules from Aptean, a global provider of enterprise software solutions. As Executive Vice President and CFO, Patel was responsible for the company's finance, legal, facilities and IT functions. Prior to joining Aptean, Patel held several executive finance roles at Misys, a global provider of software solutions focused on the financial services industry.
Earlier in his career, Patel served over a decade in various finance and commercial leadership positions at IBM. He was primarily based in the UK, leading teams across Ireland, Netherlands and South Africa. He was on assignment for three years in Slovakia to set up and lead IBM's European Finance Centre of Excellence. Patel brings a wealth of international and technology experience to HotSchedules and an operational, hands-on approach to the CFO role.
