House of Blues Entertainment And District N9NE Announce Exclusive Booking Agreement For District N9NE

PHILADELPHIA, June 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Live Nation's House of Blues Entertainment division (HOBE) and District N9NE today announced an exclusive, long-term booking agreement for District N9NE, a 600-1,400 capacity venue located in the Callowhill neighborhood of Philadelphia, PA.  The booking agreement is scheduled to kick off this month with TicketWeb as the exclusive ticket provider for the venue.

District N9NE, formally The Starlight Ballroom, has been renovated and redesigned since its opening in September 2013. With over $300,000 in improvements including upgrading the dressing rooms and venue lighting, brand new sound equipment, improved comfort areas and new decor that mark District N9NE as one of the latest up-and-coming EDM and live music venues in Philadelphia.

District N9NE is located at 460 N. Ninth Street, between Callowhill Street and Spring Garden Street.
