How to PASS the Test of New Year's Weight Loss Resolutions

Positive – Establish a positive mindset and focus on progress not perfection. Instead of letting slip-ups sabotage a healthy resolution, focus on small successes and not overall perfection. The hormones produced from the stress of trying to eat perfectly are far more harmful than the minor slip-up.

Sleep – If you must choose between sleep or exercise … always choose sleep.  Sleep supports hormonal healing and permanent weight loss by lowering your "setpoint" weight. Set a goal to get at least 7-8 hours of sleep a night (even if it means skipping your morning jog!).

Slower & Lower – Incorporate "eccentric" resistance training (weights) into your workout. Focus on the movement of lowering the weights slower and you will work untapped muscle fiber and find great results.
