HTNG Selects Travel Tripper As A Finalist For The 2016 TechOvation Award

Travel Tripper Rate Match helps hotels to combat rate parity issues with third-party online travel agencies (OTAs). As travelers search for rates on a hotel booking engine, Rate Match performs a price parity check with major OTAs—if the rate is lower elsewhere, Rate Match will automatically adjust the price to match the lower rate and make it instantly bookable on the hotel site.

With Travel Tripper Rate Match, hotels will be able to modernize their best rate guarantee policies, increase direct bookings, and stay competitive among OTAs.

Travel Tripper competed against 15 applicants and was selected as a finalist by a panel of 10 judges who were instructed to evaluate the solutions based on innovation and potential impact on the industry. Participation for HTNG's 2016 TechOvation Award was open to member and non-members alike. The winner and top finalists are selected in the general session by the audience and this year was the highest attendance number for HTNG's North American Conference to date.
