Huawei Launches Theme of "Leading New ICT, Building a Better Connected World" at CeBIT 2016
SHENZHEN, China, March 9, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Huawei plans to announce its global marketing theme for its Enterprise Business Group (BG): "Leading New ICT, Building a Better Connected World" at CeBIT 2016, the world's largest annual IT trade fair, held in Hannover, Germany, from March 14 to 18, 2016. The theme defines how the leading global ICT provider is enabling enterprises to transform and thrive in the digital era. This year will mark Huawei's sixth consecutive year participating in CeBIT with a vast exhibition area spanning 3,000 square meters, twice as large as last year.
The overall theme of CeBIT 2016 is "d!conomy", which highlights how the global economy is undergoing massive change driven by digital transformation. For enterprises, their ICT systems are shifting from siloed support systems to mission-critical production systems that support efficient production, operation, and decision-making. To succeed in this new era, they are embracing new ICT including Cloud, Big Data, the Internet of Things (IoT), and Software-Defined Networking, focusing on opportunities across a cloud-pipe-device architecture to accelerate digital transformation. Huawei's influential partners, including KUKA, Deutsche Telekom, SAP and Intel will attend Huawei's press conference at CeBIT 2016. Huawei will announce new partnerships in smart manufacturing and public cloud, unveil its Open Lab in Munich, and launch KunLun 9032, the world's first 32-socket server based on an open architecture.
