Huawei to Deliver Keynote and Showcase Product Portfolio at 2014 CCA Annual Convention

PLANO, Texas, Sept. 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, today announced it will deliver a keynote address and showcase its Carrier Network, Enterprise and Consumer portfolio at the 2014 Competitive Carrier Association (CCA) Annual Convention in Las Vegas.

Charles Ding, Corporate Senior Vice President and Chief Huawei Representative in the United States, will deliver a keynote address on Tuesday, September 9 from 9:20-9:35 a.m. PT in the Nolita Ballroom at The Cosmopolitan Hotel. Mr. Ding's keynote address will focus on the trends, challenges and solutions in extending competitive broadband to all. 

During the Convention's exhibit hours, Huawei will showcase its product portfolio including:

• Small Cells – Huawei's portfolio of small cell solutions has been deployed globally in more than 40 networks, with a full range of small cell products including micro and pico base stations with SingleSON and HetNet CA (Carrier Aggregation) solutions. The product portfolio includes the SingleDAS, AtomCell and LampSite solutions.
  • The SingleDAS solution consists of active and passive distributed antenna systems.
  • AtomCell is the small cell family consisting of pico and micro base stations as well as end-to-end integrated Wi-Fi solutions.
  • LampSite is the industry leading in-building Cloud RAN solution with over 25 deployments globally including large venues like the Beijing Airport and the prestigious Evian Hotel in France. These deployments are providing average speeds of four (4) times greater than a typical user will experience on a macro network.
• Evolved Wireless Local Loop (eWLL) – Huawei's eWLL solution is a cost-effective, LTE fixed-wireless, EPC-free solution providing wireless coverage to end users for broadband access. Adapted from the traditional mobile LTE TDD architecture, the eNodeB integrates a simple core to support device authentication and provisioning, reducing CAPEX, OPEX and time to market. It supports LTE-Advanced and standard LTE TDD devices.
• Antennas – Providing optimal network performance, Huawei's extensive antenna product portfolio supports all major U.S. frequencies and numerous configurations. Its plug-and-play EasyRET antenna improves commissioning efficiency up to 50 percent and reliability is three (3) times better than a traditional external RET solution.
• Huawei's RTN 380/360 Series IP Microwave – Huawei's RTN 380 is a second generation E-band microwave solution based on a carrier-grade design, offering ultra-high capacity, best-in-class features and superior performance, including up to 2.5 Gbps full-duplex throughput on a single link. The RTN 380, operating in the band of 71 to 76GHz and 81 to 86GHz, allows for a rapid deployment with simple licensing and frequency utilization. Improved interference immunity and a very narrow transmission beam make very high density deployments possible. The RTN 360 is Huawei's 60GHz microwave product for small cell backhaul. It is highly-integrated and designed to support street-level environments with quick installation and zero-touch configuration. 
• Huawei ETP48200 Series DC Power System – From 1RU to 4RU, the ETP48200 DC Power Systems offer rich features including high efficiency, high density rectifier, intelligent battery management, remote monitoring and high-level flexibility.
• Enterprise S5700-Gigabit Switch – The S5700-EI series gigabit enterprise switches are next-generation energy-saving switches developed by Huawei to meet the demand for high-bandwidth access and Ethernet multi-service aggregation. Based on cutting-edge hardware and Huawei's Versatile Routing Platform (VRP) software, the S5700-EI provides a large switching capacity and high-density GE ports to implement 10 Gbit/s upstream transmissions.
