Huawei's Ascend Y300 smartphone now available in Canada at Bell Mobility and Virgin Mobile

Latest 4G device in the Canadian market delivers a quality Android smartphone at an attractive price

MARKHAM, ON, July 30, 2013 /CNW/ - Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider and one of the world's largest smartphone manufacturers, announced today that its Ascend Y300 smartphone is now available from Bell Mobility and Virgin Mobile through select partner retailers across Canada.

Available in black, the Huawei Ascend Y300 runs on Android 4.1, has a vibrant 4.0 inch screen and a 5.0 megapixel camera with video recording capabilities. It also has voice command capabilities, which allow the user to make calls and compose text messages hands-free. For less than $100, the Ascend Y300 is available on Canada's largest 4G network from Bell Mobility retail partners Best Buy and Future Shop. Virgin Mobile retail locations will also carry the smartphone, along with retail partners Loblaws, The Source and Walmart.
