Hubbard Construction Acquires Roadway Management, Inc.
WINTER PARK, Fla., April 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- On March 9, 2011, Hubbard Construction Company acquired Roadway Management, Inc. (RMI), a pavement preservation company based in Central Florida, and operating throughout the Southeastern United States.
RMI will be a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hubbard Construction and Jeff Roberts has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of RMI, reporting directly to Pierre Brousset, President and Chief Executive Officer of Hubbard.
"During his career, both with Hubbard and other firms, Jeff has gained valuable experience in the field of pavement preservation and is uniquely well-positioned to lead RMI," says Brousset.
With this acquisition, Hubbard has strengthened its capacity to provide pavement preservation options such as microsurfacing, full-depth reclamation, cold in-place recycling and chip seal surface treatment. These expanded capabilities are especially useful as Blythe Construction Company, another Hubbard Construction subsidiary, readies to begin production at its new emulsion plant in Charlotte, North Carolina.
