Human Resources Expert Joins Burrill & Company

SAN FRANCISCO, March 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Adriana Petersen has joined Burrill & Company as Managing Director of Human Resources. Adriana will be responsible for heading all aspects of human resources within the company, including talent acquisition, organizational development, compensation management and administration and all employee related issues. Her primary responsibility will be to lead the restructuring and expansion of the firm's human resources capabilities.

Adriana Petersen has enjoyed a successful entrepreneurial career with over 25 years of experience in human resources, with expertise in talent acquisition and organizational development. Adriana attended Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and by age 22 she had opened her first recruitment firm, Snelling & Snelling in Philadelphia, PA. After successfully selling that firm and relocating to California, she later became Founder and President of Madison Shea Executive Search, based out of Irvine, CA. Madison Shea ES was a leading boutique search firm specialized in healthcare with a client portfolio that included long-term partnering relationships with Stryker Corporation, Merck & Co., Wesley Jessen, Johnson & Johnson Medical, St. Lucie Hospital Systems among others. During her 15 year relationship with Stryker Corporation, her firm was responsible for over 400+ executive and professional placements internationally and for assisting in building a culture of excellence throughout the Stryker organization.
