Hundreds of international breast cancer survivors and supporters walk downtown Hamilton, Canada to kick start World Conference on Breast Cancer

HAMILTON, ON, May 30, 2011 /PRNewswire/ - The 6^th World Conference on Breast Cancer will be hosted in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. The Conference brings together hundreds of breast cancer survivors, advocates, and health professionals and researchers from developed and developing countries. The purpose is to build a global network where a woman in Kenya has the same access to breast cancer education, screening, treatment support and advocacy as a woman in Canada.

What:

The Conference begins with opening ceremonies and the conference delegates walking silently through the Hamilton downtown to build awareness about breast cancer.

Through the week, education sessions will be held for delegates led by international breast cancer experts.

The Conference will end with the Youth Day for youths aged 15 years and older.
