Hunter Wise Financial Group Names Francis V. Lorenzo Managing Director and Opens New York Office

NEW YORK and IRVINE, Calif., Dec. 1, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Hunter Wise Financial Group, LLC is pleased to announce that small cap industry veteran Francis V. Lorenzo has been appointed to lead the firm's investment banking team as it launches in the New York market. Named a Managing Director, Lorenzo will report to Hunter Wise founder and President Fred G. Jager and will oversee the sourcing and management of the firm's New York corporate finance activities, from an office on Wall Street in lower Manhattan's financial district.

Lorenzo brings Hunter Wise more than 24 years' experience in the capital markets and financial services industry.  In 2002 he founded and served as Chief Executive Officer of OTC Solutions, LLC, a specialized corporate finance advisory firm that assisted micro cap companies trading in the Over-the-Counter market with capital formation, public and private equity financing and strategic business development.  In 1995, he formed the Loren Investment Group, which focused on counseling companies seeking to go public through the reverse-merger process, as well as advising companies requiring capital.  He began his career in 1986 as an arbitrage assistant at Speer, Leeds & Kellogg/Investors, Inc., advancing to serve as an arbitrage trader in the XMI Major Market Index (futures and options) on the American Stock Exchange.  Lorenzo is a 1984 graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder where he received a BA degree in Economics and Political Science.
