Huntington Hospital Launches New Program to Provide Excellence in Obstetric Care
GREENVILLE, S.C., Feb. 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Huntington Hospital of San Gabriel Valley, CA recently partnered with Ob Hospitalist Group (OBHG) to provide on-site, Board Certified OB/GYN obstetric hospitalist services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The program started on January 29, 2015. The mission of the program is to elevate the standard of women's healthcare by delivering specialized obstetric services that deliver the very best patient care and reduce delays in care.
This program was a vision shared by Paula Varrette, MD, Huntington Hospital Senior Vice President of Quality and Physician Services and Dr. James Macer Board Certified OB/GYN. After many years of research into obstetric hospitalist medicine and countless hours of evaluating providers, Huntington Hospital made the decision to partner with Ob Hospitalist Group.
