Huntkey Becomes Official Partner of 2017 Demacia Cup
SHENZHEN, China, May 26, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Huntkey, a global leading provider of power solutions, has become an official partner of 2017 Demacia Cup, one of the most professional and popular e-sport competitions in China held by Tencent Games, one of China's biggest online game developers. Twenty-eight professional e-sport teams will fight for the championship to win up to RMB 500,000 from May 23 to June 4.

League of Legends (LoL for short) is an online multiplayer session-based game combines elements of role-playing and strategy genres. It is operated by Tencent Games in China and has quickly become famous among millions of gamers. As its popularity rises, more and more LoL e-sport league matches, tournaments and championships are being held, including Demacia Cup. Demacia Cup is a single-elimination competition which has been held for three years since 2014. In 2017, Huntkey has partnered with Tencent Games again to bring Demacia Cup to LoL lovers.
In 2017 Demacia Cup, there are a total of 6 rounds. From May 23 to May 28, the e-sport event begins with a group stage of 24 teams, divided into 4 groups (Group A, B, C and D), and each group has 6 teams. Each team meets other one team in its group in a single-elimination format. After 3 rounds, there will be one winning team from each group that will progress to the next round. From June 1 to June 2, the 4 winning teams will compete with the top 4 teams from LPL Spring Season (also held by Tencent Games) for spots in the semifinals. On June 4, 1 champion will come out after the finals and will win RMB 500,000.
