Dr. Mireille Gillings was a finalist for 'Executive of the Year' and HUYA was a finalist for 'Best Company in an Emerging Market'. HUYA CEO and Executive Chairman, Dr. Mireille Gillings, presented HUYA Bioscience's Best New Drug Award to Novartis which was recognized for the launch of its new product Cosentyx (secukinumab), a therapy for psoriasis. The award was presented at a ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London, attended by over 300 industry leaders.

In this category, the judges were looking for the small-molecule or biological product that was approved in its first market worldwide during the qualifying period that represents the best therapeutic advance in its area. The recipient was selected by an 11-member, independent judging panel of senior industry experts from around the world.
