Hyland Software President and CEO, A.J. Hyland, Announces Retirement

CLEVELAND, Jan. 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Hyland Software today announced the retirement of A.J. Hyland, president and CEO of Hyland Software, and the promotion of Bill Priemer as Hyland's new CEO.  A.J. Hyland will continue to hold his position on the Board of Directors for Hyland Software and as a shareholder in the company.  Over the past six months, A.J. Hyland has developed and executed on a strategic transition plan with Priemer and other executives in the organization to ensure a smooth changeover of leadership.

Retirement will give A.J. Bill Priemer, currently COO at Hyland Software, will make the transition to CEO on Monday, January 14. Priemer's appointment comes after more than six months of transition planning and execution and a unanimous vote from Hyland Software's Board of Directors.

Priemer has more than 15 years of executive experience at Hyland Software, working closely with A.J. Hyland and other executives to drive the successful growth and delivery of all client and partner-facing initiatives. His senior-level leadership will create a smooth transition for Hyland's partner and customer bases.
