Dubbed, Strategies for Avoiding Device Failure, the seminar will be led by industry expert Robert Hult. As the Director of Product Technology for Bishop & Associates, Hult has nearly 40 years experience in the connector industry, with stops at Foxconn, Intel, and Tyco Electronics.

Hult's presentation will look at making safe, dependable choices when it comes to component selection. This fits well with Hypertronics' strategy, a company that is well respected for being a global supplier of high reliability, high performance interconnect solutions.
As most design engineers are aware, there are many potential points of failure on an advanced medical system. Hult will point out the obvious and not-so-obvious trouble spots, as well as their causes, and what you can do to avoid them. Devices covered in the discussion will include MRI, digital imaging, ultrasound, electrophysiology catheters, defibrillators, patient monitoring equipment, and implantable devices. One particular area of focus will be the interconnect system. Ample time will be allowed for Q&A and networking.
