HYUNDAI MNSOFT Partners with Netradyne to Lead the Next Generation of Autonomous Vehicle Technology Globally

SAN DIEGO, Dec. 4, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Netradyne, a leader in Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology focusing on driver and fleet safety, today announced a global partnership with HYUNDAI MNSOFT, a Hyundai Motor Group subsidiary specializing in location-based services (LBS), cloud-based connected navigation software and future high definition (HD) maps for autonomous vehicles. While several competitors have participated in partnerships surrounding Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR)-based mapping collaborations, Netradyne's differentiated approach ultimately stood out to Hyundai as it relies on crowd-sourced deep vision analytics—a more affordable approach to HD Map generation which ultimately offers feasible dynamic updates.
