NEW GLOUCESTER, Maine, Feb. 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Iberdrola USA Foundation, Inc. is pleased to name Antonio M. Perez, former chairman and CEO of The Eastman Kodak Company, and Craig N. Denekas, president and CEO of the Libra Foundation as independent non-executive members of its board of directors.

Mr. Perez serves as Chairman of the Escuela Superior de Administración y Dirección de Empresas International Advisory Board. He is a board member at the George Eastman House International Museum of Photography & Film, and a member of the board of advisors for the American Council for World Jewry's Science-Technology Diplomacy Initiative.
Prior to his tenure at Kodak, Mr. Perez served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Gemplus International, and led its IPO on both the Nasdaq and Premier Marche' in France. He's held several executive positions at Hewlett Packard Company, including President - Inkjet & Consumer Business. He is a past member of the Board of Directors of Adobe Systems, Freescale Semiconductor, Inc., and Schering-Plough. He also served on President Obama's Council on Jobs and Competitiveness.
Mr. Perez received an honorary Doctorate Degree from the University of Rochester, and studied electronic engineering, marketing, and business in Spain and France.
Mr. Denekas serves as a Trustee of the Libra Foundation, a Trustee of the Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy, a Trustee of the Fisher Charitable Foundation, a Director of the Portland Public Library, a Corporator of MaineHealth, and a Director of Pineland Farms Natural Meats, Inc. and Pineland Farms Potato Company, Inc.
Among other programs designed specifically to benefit Maine people, the Libra Foundation's "Raising Readers" program has provided more than two million books to children born in Maine. Prior to joining the Libra Foundation, Mr. Denekas was a director and shareholder at the law firm of Perkins, Thompson in Portland.
Previously Mr. Denekas served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Maine Public Broadcasting Network, President of the Board of Trustees for the Park-Danforth Senior Living Facility in Portland, and Secretary and a member of the Board of Directors for the Cleaves Law Library.
Mr. Denekas holds a bachelor's of arts degree in economics with honors from Dartmouth College and a law degree from the University of Michigan Law School, with honors. He is admitted to the bar in the State of Maine and to the bar of the US District Court of Maine.
