Iberdrola USA to Emphasize Talent Management and Workforce Diversity
New hires will focus on talent management, inclusion and international relations
ROCHESTER, N.Y., Sept. 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Iberdrola USA has hired Rajaswari Ramanan and Noemi Sainz to augment its human resources roster and drive new diversity, inclusion and international relations initiatives at its three operating companies.
Rajaswari "Raji" Ramanan was named director, talent management, diversity and inclusion and will apply her twenty years of experience in driving key human capital processes to build a more skilled and diverse workforce at Iberdrola USA. Prior to joining Iberdrola USA, Ms. Ramanan was the Director of Global Talent Management for LaFarge of North America, the world's largest cement construction company, headquartered in Paris, France.
Noemi Sainz was named director, international relations and training and will be responsible for global and domestic mobility. Working together with Raji, she will also be responsible for overseeing technical training. Ms. Sainz, who has relocated from Spain, has been with Iberdrola for 11 years and played a pivotal role in the formation and integration of Iberdrola USA after Iberdrola S.A. acquired Energy East (Iberdrola USA's predecessor company) in 2008.
