BEIJING, Jan. 8, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- IBTM China, part of IBTM's global portfolio of meetings, events and industry trade shows, a well established event in China, has announced details of its 2019 edition. The event will take place at China National Convention Centre (CNCC) in Beijing on 28 and 29 August.
It is anticipated that over 380 international and domestic exhibitors will meet with over 400 hosted buyers for two days of pre-arranged business meetings. Over 3,500 visitors are also expected to attend. Twenty percent of the new hosted buyers are from 2nd and 3rd tier cities in China as well as the APAC region. Hosted buyers from Alibaba, Tesla, MasterCard and another 50 well-known corporations have confirmed to attend IBTM China 2019.
This year will see the introduction of a new Experience Zone where visitors will be able to interact with select exhibitors in immersive themed environments on the show floor. Additionally, in response to customer demand for more opportunities to learn and be inspired by outside speakers, eight new speaker slots have been added to the programme which will cover four key themes, details of which to be announced early in the year.
"The 2018 event was a huge success," said IBTM China Project Manager Ms. Nicole Ci. "300 exhibitors from over 20 countries and regions got to engage with Hosted Buyers and trade visitors from 33 countries, with total potential resulting business at 2.25 billion USD as well as 529 agreements secured on site."
"In 2019, IBTM China has ambitious plans to grow international markets to enrich our destination resources and increase the proportion of international exhibitors from 30% to 40% as the total number of exhibitors reaching to 380," continued Ms. Ci. "We plan to invite 400 high-quality global Hosted Buyers, and 50% of them will be new comers to IBTM China."

As a result, we've almost doubled the number of speaker sessions this year to 18.
