Dec 10, 2010, 09:26 ET from IceWEB, Inc.

STERLING, Va., Dec. 10, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- IceWEB, Inc.™ (OTC Bulletin Board: IWEB), www.IceWEB.com, a leading provider of Unified Data Storage and building blocks for cloud storage networks, today announced that it has successfully integrated STEC's MACH16 and MACH8 Solid State Drives (SSDs) into the IceWEB 3000/5000 Unified Data Storage Cluster System delivered to Honeywell Federal Manufacturing and Technologies for use by the United States Government.

IceWEB, a provider of unified data storage solutions, leverages the key performance features of STEC SSD drives to enhance overall system efficiency. IceWEB selected the STEC Enterprise MACH family of SSDs due in part to their powerful error correcting code (ECC) mechanisms, which ensure the protection of data transferred to the drives. Unified storage applications represent a good opportunity to leverage the key reliability features of the MACH family of drives.

According to Mr. Tim McNamee, IceWEB Federal Channel Manager, "The ability to successfully integrate STEC SSD drives with the IceWEB 3000/5000 Storage Appliance further enhances the value proposition that IceWEB and its Channel Partners bring to its customers.  This could result in increased acceptance of IceWEB as a provider of state-of-the art world class solutions to a customer's storage requirements."
